Folk-elektronika // torsdag 

Sindcata kommer tilbake til SÅ, og står denne gangen på hovedscenen.

Bandet består av Tjærand Matre, Elisabeth og Jørgen Leithe-Rief. Tjærand har tatt nattskiftet på støyscenen siden 90-tallet og kjent fra duoen Psykopharmaka. Jørgen trakterer alle instrumenter og har laget egen musikk i det evig navnendrende bandet Black Cardinal & The Strange Days, og sent 90-talls bandet Shire. Elisabeth har stort sett gått under radaren i små ukjente indierockband. I flere år har de spilt sammen i ulike bandkonstellasjoner og sjangere for både kongelige og innsatte.

Musikken de lager oppstår i skjæringspunktet mellom sjangrene folk og elektronika. Livet består av små vakre øyeblikk, vonde realiteter og såre erfaringer, og de søker å la musikken bære preg av dette. Denne sommeren er de aktuelle med egne elektromikser av det selvtitulerte albumet de gav ut i 2022, og spiller de disse variantene med et respektabelt antall synther og ei litta gullgruve av en Alesis.

Sindicata consists of Tjærand Matre, Elisabeth and Jørgen Leithe-Rief. 

Tjærand has taken the night shift on the noise scene since the 90s and is known from the duo Psykopharmaka. Jørgen plays all instruments and has made his own music in the ever-changing band Black Cardinal & The Strange Days, and the late 90s band Shire. Elisabeth has mostly gone under the radar in small unknown indie rock bands. For several years they have played together in various band constellations and genres for both royalty and inmates.

The music they create arises at the intersection between folk and electronica. Musically, they are constantly in motion and exploration. Life consists of small beautiful moments, painful realities and experiences, and they seek to let the music bear the mark of this.

This summer they are relevant with their own electro mixes of the album they released in 2022, and they play these variants with a respectable number of synths and a little gold mine of an Alesis.
