På SÅ får du i år møte nok en brilliant fransk musiker. 

Charles-Henri MAULINI, kommer fra Nice i Frankrike. Han lærte å spille piano som tenåring, og avanserteraskt til å studere orgel og komponering ved det nasjonale musikkonservatoriet i Cannes og Paris, hvorhan har vunnet mange priser. Han jobber for tiden som organist, både i Nice og i Paris. Han har de sisteårene komponert mange verk for pinao, samt laget popmusikk for indie-rock- bandet sitt, «A Red SeasonShade». 

Hans mange ulike inspirasjonskilder, alt fra klassisk- og filmmusikk til pop og elektronika, har ført tilfølsomme, intense og intime pianostykker. Charles-Henri MAULINI har akkurat spilt inn debutalbumetsitt, produsert av Minco Eggersman og Jan Borger, som kommer ut på Volkoren Records.

Charles-Henri MAULINI, born in Nice, France, learnt how to play the piano during his teenage years. He quickly started to study pipe organ and composition at the National Conservatoire of Music in Cannes and Paris, where he has won many prizes. He is currently working as an organist at the Protestant Church in Nice and Paris. Over the past years, he has composed many piano pieces, as well as pop songs for his indie-rock band “A Red Season Shade”.His various inspirations such as classical, film music, pop music and electro, has lead to him composing emotional, intense and intimate piano works. Charles-Henri MAULINI has just recorded his debut album,produced by Minco Eggersman and Jan Borger, and will soon be released on Volkoren Records.
